Copied iPhone photos to a Windows PC and they won't open? Windows needs extra codecs for HEIC, and some of them are paid. Converting the photos to JPG is quicker: open this page in Edge, Chrome or Firefox, drop the files and download JPGs that open everywhere. Up to 10 photos per batch, and nothing is sent to a server.
- Open the folder with your .heic files in File Explorer.
- Select the photos and drag them into the box above.
- Click Convert; the JPGs are created in your browser.
- Click “Download all (ZIP)” and extract the ZIP in your Downloads folder.
Why convert in your browser?
Most online converters send your files to their servers and promise to delete them later. FileFlip does the work on your own device instead, so there is nothing to delete: you can even switch on airplane mode after the page loads and it keeps working. See the privacy proof
