How to Convert HEIC to JPG on iPhone
Updated October 27, 2026
iPhones save photos as HEIC to save space. Many websites, forms and Windows PCs expect JPG instead.
Convert online in your browser
Open this page in Safari, tap the upload area and pick your photos. FileFlip converts them to JPG on your phone and saves them to your downloads. Nothing gets uploaded.
Advanced settings
Make your iPhone shoot JPG
Go to Settings > Camera > Formats and select "Most Compatible". From now on your camera saves JPG files. This only affects new photos.
Use the Files app
Copy a photo from the Photos app and paste it into a folder in the Files app. iOS often saves the copy as JPG. This works for single photos but gets slow for many.
Tip for uploads
Many upload forms convert HEIC automatically, but some reject it. If a form shows an error, convert the photo to JPG first.
