Local conversion: files are processed only inside your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. We do not receive, store or share file contents. Conversion libraries may be downloaded from a CDN on first use; these requests contain technical connection data, not your files.
Hosting and backend: FileFlip uses Lovable and Lovable Cloud (Lovable Labs AB, Sweden) to deliver and secure the site and store waitlist data. Hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, request details and security logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliable, secure operation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Infrastructure providers may act as sub-processors. Applicable processing terms and transfer safeguards are described in the provider’s data-processing agreement. We do not promise EU-only processing or a specific log retention period.
Pro waitlist: with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), we store your email, language, signup source and date to notify you of the Pro launch and early-access discount. We retain this data until the launch notification is completed or you withdraw consent or request deletion, whichever comes first. Withdraw consent or request deletion at hallo@locifymedia.at; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Owner notifications contain aggregated signup counts only, never a list of email addresses.
Cookies and local storage: essential preferences, consent choices, secure admin login and offline conversion caches support the service. Optional analytics and advertising are disabled by default and require consent. Cookie choices expire after 180 days and can be changed at any time through Cookie settings below. Offline caches contain app code and conversion libraries, not your selected files. You can remove local storage and caches in your browser settings.
Advertising: Google AdSense is not active yet. Once enabled, Google advertising cookies and personalized advertising will load only with your advertising consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). We will update this policy with the actual Google services, recipients, retention and transfer information before activation. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent conversion.
Your GDPR rights: request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability or object to processing where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time. Contact hallo@locifymedia.at.
