Privacy proof: check it yourself

We say your files never leave your device. You don't have to take our word for it — here are two ways to check.

1. The airplane mode test

  1. Open any FileFlip tool once while online, so the page and conversion engine are loaded.
  2. Turn on airplane mode or disconnect Wi-Fi.
  3. Drop a file and convert it. It still works — because nothing is sent anywhere.

2. Watch the Network tab

  1. On a computer, open the developer tools (F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I / Cmd+Option+I) and choose the Network tab.
  2. Convert a file and watch the list of requests.
  3. You will see no request carrying your file. The only downloads are the page itself and, the first time, the conversion engine.
